Steven C. Greene, age 63 of Middleboro, passed away on February 5, 2026, at The Boston Medical Center South in Brockton.
He was the beloved husband of Mary (Jussaume) Greene.
Steven was born in Taunton, the son of the late Charles and Patricia (Thielker) Greene.
Before his illness, Mr. Greene was employed with Olson’s Greenhouses Inc., as a grower for 40+ years.
He enjoyed many things, like late-night coffee, napping, playing random games on his cell phone, fishing, and most importantly, spending quality time with his granddaughter, Hazel.
You could always catch Steven sitting in his recliner watching shows such as Wheel of Fortune, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and Phantom Gourmet. If he wasn’t in the house, he was outside on the patio enjoying the weather with one of his favorite cigarettes. Although he wouldn't admit it, you may occasionally catch him playing with Barbies with his granddaughter, Hazel.
Steven is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Patricia Greene, as well as his granddaughter Luna Ivy Hill.
Besides his beloved wife, Mary, of over 40 years, Steven is survived by his loving children, Patrick Greene, Katie Greene and her fiancé, Eugene Hill, and children from past relationships, Renee Sanchez and Trisha Rouleau Tokarz, and his brother, Billy Greene. He is also survived by several grandchildren, Hazel Hill, Ethan, Avery, Brayden, Alyssa, Austin, and Jessalyn, as well as great-grandchildren, Justice and Chance, and niece Heather, as well as many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life is currently pending and the obituary will soon be updated.
Arrangements are with the Silva Funeral Home of Taunton.
