Steven M. "Steve" Hahn, of Stockton, KS, passed away on May 15, 2024, in Plainville, KS, at the age of 66. He was born on March 6, 1958, to Clyde W. and Meda Rae (Marshall) Hahn in Hays. He married Deborah Beck on September 17, 1976, in Stockton. They were blessed with three children: Tara, Travis, and Tyler.
Steve grew up in Stockton and attended school until he was 16 when he went to work to help his family. Steve was the owner and operator of Hahn Tire and Beck/Hahn Farm. He spent most of his time working at the shop and on the farm. If he wasn't farming or working cattle, he loved to spend time with his family. In his younger years he enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, and trap shooting.
Steve is survived by his wife, Deborah of the home in Stockton; children, Tara Wildeman (David) of Ellis, KS, Travis Hahn (Angela) of Stockton and Tyler Hahn (Tinley) of Stockton; siblings, Alan Hahn (Paula) of Stockton, Clydene Widener (Junior) of Stockton, Lorna Thayer (Pat) of Stockton, and LeAnn Scott (Jeff) of Stockton; mother-in-law, Dena Beck of Stockton; brother-in-law, Richard Bretton of Salina, KS and business partner/brother-in-law, Rick Beck of Stockton; nine grandchildren, Jaryn Wildeman of Ellis, Coryn Hahn of Stockton, Gavyn Wildeman of Ellis, Ashlyn, Haden, Channing, Declan, Estes, and Elise Hahn all of Stockton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Alva Beck; sister, Elva Bretton; and grandson, Dirks Hahn.
The family will host a come and go Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, June 15, 2024, 5PM until 7PM at the Walker Senior Center, 201 S Walnut St, Stockton.
