Dr. Steven was my family physician in Oxford, Michigan from 2002 to 2017.
He was dedicated to patients & taught me much about heathy food consumption (organic/Non GMO) as he did so himself.
Dr. Steven was also dedicated to children in that he believed proper nutrition was vital to childern in theis early devlopment.
I pray that God has embraced him as Dr. Steven has a place in the divine Kingdom.
He will always be remembered as a person dedicated to humans & worthy of Gods Kingdom.

Dr. Hartz was my husbands doctor and Tom bonded with Dr. Hartz because they both wore cowboy boots. Dr. Hartz was easy to talk to and listened when you talked. Shared stories of his life, really cared about his patients. Tom was sad when Dr. Hartz retired and moved south, but he was also happy for him. Tom passed away in 2020 but I know he would want me to send my condolences. Dr. Hartz was a good man, he will be missed.

We loved him so much as our doctor. We were so sad when he retired and moved to NC. I have not found another doctor who could replace him. RIP Dr Hartz. You were the best!

He was such a kind man! Most sincere condolences to the family. I´m hopeful that his obituary (or such) will be send to the Oxford Leader... Dr Hartz was highly respected in this community...

He was my mom´s doctor for years. She passed in 2019. She absolutely loved him. My interactions with him while mom was in my care was amazing. Very caring and patient with my mom. So sorry he is gone.
