It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Steven J. Katz at the tender age of 29. Steven was a beloved brother, nephew, and grandson, who left us too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Steven was predeceased by his devoted mom, Tanya Katz and Robert Cox his father, along with his grandmother, Joan Beagle and his uncle Michael Katz. He is survived by his loving siblings, Alexandra (Doug Fournier) Klein, Mikaela Katz, and Elizabeth Katz. Steven's passions were as vibrant and diverse as the life he lived. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from visiting cider mills to savoring the delight of frozen custard with family. He loved music and drawing, though among his many interests, Steven's love for video games stood out. It was more than just a hobby; it was a way for him to connect, to explore, and to find solace and excitement. His enthusiasm for gaming was infectious and he shared countless hours of fun and camaraderie with friends and family. Steven's unexpected departure leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His warm spirit, kind heart and joyful nature will forever be remembered and missed. A visitation to celebrate Steven's life will be held at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Rd. (3Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica, on Monday (August 5th) from 3pm until the time of sharing of memories at 4:30pm.
