Steven Kipp Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sperry-McHoul-Pichi Funeral Home on Feb. 18, 2026.
NORTH ATTLEBORO – Steven W. Kipp, 70, of North Attleboro, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 15, 2026. He was the beloved husband of his high school sweetheart, Joan M. (Delaurier) Kipp, to whom he was wed on June 18, 1977.

Born in Needham, Massachusetts on December 25, 1955, he was a loving son of the late Joan L. (Foti) Kipp and William E. Kipp and his wife Judy. Steven grew up in Walpole and moved to North Attleboro in the eighth grade. He was a proud 1973 graduate of North Attleboro High School.

Steven entered the carpentry trade shortly after graduation and remained self-employed for fifty years. A dedicated and highly respected craftsman, he continued working right up until the end - he simply never retired. His work ethic, skill, and integrity earned him the admiration of clients and colleagues alike.

A true motorcycle enthusiast, Steven purchased his first bike, a 1968 Sportster, and never lost his love for the open road. He was especially proud of his two Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He was also a devoted music lover who enjoyed attending concerts and sharing that passion with friends and family.

Steven loved to have fun and was truly the life of the party - often the first to arrive and the last to leave. Kind, generous, and genuine, he didn't have a bad bone in his body. He saw the good in everyone and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Above all, the greatest love of Stevie's life was his daughter, Courtney. He adored her beyond measure and was, in every sense, the greatest father. Nothing brought him more pride or joy than being her dad. His love only grew when he became "Pepe" to his cherished granddaughter, Sophie, who held a very special place in his heart.

In addition to his devoted wife Joan, he is survived by his loving daughter, Courtney L. Kipp Nardo and her husband Daniel of White Plains, New York; and his cherished granddaughter, Sophie J. Nardo. He was the dear brother of John W. Kipp and his wife Kathy; Kenneth W. Kipp; Darren W. Kipp and his wife MaryAnn; David W. Kipp; Loretta J. Roche and her husband James; and EvaLou Roschlein and her husband Eric. He was also the step-brother of David Roche, Steven Roche, James Roche, and Michael Roche. He leaves many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the SPERRY-MCHOUL-PICHI FUNERAL HOME, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in his honor by the Reverend David A. Costa on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church (Transfiguration of the Lord Parish), 14 Park Street, North Attleboro.

Interment will be private.

Relatives and friends are most warmly invited to attend.
