Steven L. Komm

Steven Komm, 78, of Overland Park, died Friday, July 22, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 25 at Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Ave. Burial Mt. Moriah Cemetery. He was born August 7, 1943, to the late Robert and Harriet Komm, in St. Louis, MO. He earned a BS in Accounting from the University of Missouri after serving his country in the United States Army. He married Marcia Sedler in 1970.
Steven was an Accountant and CPA by trade for much of his career until he changed career paths in 2000 and he became passionate about becoming an entrepreneur and purchased a large retail hobby store franchise with his wife, Marcia, and son, Adam.
He was a member of The Temple, Congregation B'nai Jehudah since its early days. Steve was an avid dog lover and had four shitzu's, Ty, Nika, Junior, and Trey that have been waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia, son and daughter-in-law: Adam and Michelle Komm, of Overland Park, KS; daughter and son-in-law: Jami and Jason Luce, Prairie Village, KS; and two grandchildren, Kemper and Eden.
