Steven G. Leary, age 55, sadly passed away on March 24, 2023. Steven was born on December 19, 1967 in Baltimore, MD. He is the beloved son of Barbara Leary (nee Ridgway) & Walter Gregory Leary, Sr. (and his wife Beverly Leary); loving brother of Walter Gregory Leary, Jr. (and his wife Elizabeth), Jean Leary Baier (and her partner Eddie Blouse), Kimberly Stastny (and her husband Steve), Julie Leary (and her partner Rob Santomartino), Kevin Leary (and his wife Melissa); cherished uncle of Walter Gregory Leary III (and his wife Abbegail), Robert Leary (and his wife Courtney), Ernie Baier, Alisha Baier, Amanda Hockett (and her husband Chris), Austin Stastny, Bella Stastny, Jules Bates (and her husband Matt), Alex Santomartino (and his fiancé Katie), Ryan Leary (and his wife Meaghan), Katelyn Capps (and her husband Trent), and Kevin Leary, Jr; caring great-uncle of Mackenzie Baier, Christopher Baier, Tyler Baier, Zachary Kelly (Baier), Cayden Hockett, Avery Hockett, Theodore Hockett, Olivia Bates, Alaina Bates, Hadley Bates, Grady Bates, Sean Capps, Benjamin Capps, and Arya Leary. Steven is also survived by many loving friends.
Family and friends may gather at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Friday, March 31 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Steven Gregory Leary may be directed to support General cancer at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.
