Steven Paul Lewis

Steven Paul Lewis was called to Heaven on July 1, 2021. Steven Lewis was born on November 5, 1986 in Clinton, MD to Bruce and Debra Lewis. He attended and graduated from Patuxent High School in Lusby, MD, Class of 2004. Steven and his high-school sweetheart, Andrea Nagers, were blessed 10 years ago with the birth of their son, Mason Ray Lewis. Steven and his son, Mason, loved playing football, basketball, wrestling, having nerf gun fights, and binging on Netflix and video games.

Steven was employed at IUEC LOCAL 10. He had a passion for elevators at a young age. Steven grew up building them with his father and brothers, so by the time he was hired by LOCAL 10, he was very well knowledgeable.

Since his childhood days, Steven loved anything with wheels...from dirt bikes, four wheelers to all different types of cars. Steven was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, and grew up loving Nascar, Jeff Gordon, who was his all-time favorite. Also, Steven loved to fish. His rule was no one would be allowed to leave or stop fishing until we caught at least one. He was somewhat of a "goofball"; his number one goal was to make you laugh or get you to crack a smile. He was very adventurous; a plan was never needed, as he would say "let's wing it". Steven was easy to talk to, easy to relate to, and easy to love.

Steven was preceded in death by his late grandmother, Claudia Clark, and his brother, William Lewis, who are in Heaven awaiting Steven with open arms, and his beloved pets Sadie, Sandy and Chole.

Steven's life will forever be cherished by his son, Mason Lewis ; his parents, Bruce and Debra Lewis; sister, Ashley Lewis; brother-in-law, Donald Russell; brother, Michael Lewis; grandparents, Dr. Bill and Thelma Rice and Graham and Donna Lewis, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, July 15, 2021 for visitation from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 38576 Brett Way, Mechanicsville, MD. Interment will be private.
