STEVEN DALE PYLE was born on September 29, 1952, in Angola Indiana, was raised in Florissant, Missouri, and died on May 6, 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Harrell Smead Pyle, and his mother Juanita June (Steffens) Pyle. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Sander) Pyle, his son Thomas William, and daughter Elizabeth Suzanne; 2 brothers, Mark and wife Judy of Lakewood Village, Texas and Brian and wife Teresita of Sherwood, Arkansas; nieces and nephews. Steven attended Florissant Valley-St. Louis Community College before transferring to St. Paul Bible College (now Crown College) in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Bible and Missions. He attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and later received his Masters Degree in Christian Education from Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was ordained by The Christian and Missionary Alliance and served in various Ministries in Wyoming and Minnesota as a Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and Director of Christian Education before working as a Theological Editor at Union Gospel Press, now a division of LifeStone in Cleveland, Ohio. Memorial Service will be on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at The Church at West Creek, 2707 Grantwood Drive, Parma, Ohio 44134 where the family will visit with friends from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at 2:00 PM. Private burial took place at Foxfield Preserve, in Wilmot, Ohio. We all meet people throughout our lives who are experiencing hardships of all sorts. Let us be the person to not only observe, but take action by listening and helping where we can.
