Steven Eugene Joseph Roach, 62, of Homeland, GA passed away in Jacksonville, FL Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was born July 18, 1961 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Paul Harris Roach, Sr. and Barbara Nell Hayward Roach. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2-Daughters: Anna Hogan and Chelsie Roach; 3-Sisters: Susan Kirton, Barbara Johnson and Mary Jane Batton and 3-brothers: Thomas Roach, Richard Roach and Paul Roach, Jr.
He is survived by his daughters: Alicia Hogan, Tiffany (B.J.) Brown, Traci Wittrien, Tricia Schoon Kelley (Kiefer) Reeves and Rickey Smith; 4-sisters: Kate Melton, Teresa Slaton, Rebecca Newman and Angela Chesser; 28-grandchildren: Chandler Hogan, Miranda Hogan, Lacie Hogan, Ava Rae Hogan, Tyler Hogan, Kansas Hogan, Raven Hogan, Layla Hogan and Lucious Wittrien, James Edwards, Traven Brown, Trenton Brown, Talen Brown, Haley Brown, Tristan Brown Jazzlyn Harper, Anthony Cole Roach, Austin Wittrien, Mariah Wittrien, Marisa Wittrien, Landen Wittrien, Braiden Wittrien, Jack Schoon, Ronnie Murray, Kenzley Murray, Persephany Murray, Skylin Murray and Ariya Reeves; 1- great grandchild: Ruben Chase Hogan; and a number of nieces and nephews
A celebration of life service will be held Monday, January 8 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends January 8 beginning at 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Memorialization will be by cremation.
