Steven J. Rosendale, 63 of Connellsville died on Friday September 26, 2025 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born on November 22, 1961 in Connellsville a son of Barbara Soisson Rosendale of Connellsville and the late Eugene D. "Joe" Rosendale. Steve was a 1980 graduate of Connellsville High School. He was retired from the US Postal Service where he was employed for almost 35 years. He was an avid bike rider, enjoyed scuba diving and gardening. Steve was a true hero having saved lives through his organ donations. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ellen R. Beal Rosendale; his siblings, John Rosendale and his wife Lisa of Greensburg, Anne Zurawski and her husband George of Connellsville, Jane Breakiron of Connellsville and Joseph Rosendale and his wife Ashley of Indiana, Pa.; his father and mother-in-law, Jeff and Ruth Beal of Dunbar; sisters-in-law, Carol Hartman and her husband Larry of Markleysburg and Amy Beal of Dunbar and many nieces and nephews, two great nephews and aunts and uncles and cousins. Family and friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville on Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M, the hour of services with Rev. This photo is at Linden Hall, 1980. I enjoyed working with Steve. He always made me laugh, even when we were loosing our minds. My sincere condolences to all those who loved him and whose lives he touched.
