Steven Eugene Satterly, 48, was born in Harrodsburg, KY on November 21, 1976 to Connie Melinda Satterly Wallace of Cadiz, KY. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Dalton Eugene Satterly and Betty Jane Satterly; paternal grandparents, King & Mary Frances Wallace and his uncle, Patrick Wallace.
He passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at his mother's home.
Steven was a man who deeply loved his family and friends, known for his goofy nature and great sense of humor. He worked hard to support his family through various jobs and college, always prioritizing their well-being. Steven found joy in simple pleasures such as fishing, spending time with friends, and watching shows like "American Pickers" and "Mountain Men." Despite facing rough patches in life, he demonstrated resilience, achieving two years of sobriety and finding faith in Jesus Christ. Above all, Steven lived for his family, cherishing every moment spent making memories with his children, and his ability to bring laughter to those around him will be fondly remembered.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father: Robert Wallace of Cadiz; two sons: Jacob Satterly of Versailles and Jarod Satterly of Danville; two daughters: Kayla Satterly and Courtney Satterly of Harrodsburg; one brother: Derek (Ariel) Wallace of Cadiz; one grand-daughter: Hadleigh Satterly; one niece: Queen Wallace; two nephews: Lathanial Wallace and Trystan Wallace; one aunt: Veda Satterly and one uncle: Tommy Satterly.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 19, 2025 at the Spring Hill Cemetery.
