To those who knew Steve, he did everything with intensity. Whether obtaining his geological engineering degree from Colorado School of Mines, qualifying for multiple personal water craft world championships, scuba diving around the world, traveling to new places, obtaining his electrical engineering degree from University of Dayton and master’s degree from Sacramento State, devoting himself to his family and animals, exploring nature, shucking oysters, or eating Pueblo green chiles, Steve tackled everything with dedication and passion.
Steve’s life work was as diverse as his interests. He lifeguarded, landscaped, and improved homes. He worked for the Air Force after graduating from Dayton as an electrical engineer. Later, he worked as a telecommunications engineer for California’s Department of Transportation where he helped maintain the state’s telecommunications infrastructure.
Indebted to have known and loved Steve, he will always be with us. We love you Steve.
