Steven K. Trott

Steven K. Trott, 63, of E. Meyer Avenue, died Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Sunny View Nursing Home in Butler, PA. He was born in Grove City on December 10, 1960, the son of the late Robert E. Trott and Helen M. (Heller) Trott, his mother survives in New Castle. Mr. Trott worked for Alex Roofing as a roofer for over 15 years. He enjoyed fishing and gambling, especially poker machines. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Mark J. Trott of Ohio, one step-son, Eric Cowen of New Castle, two brothers, Michael Trott and James Trott both of New Castle, four sisters, Tina DeRosa of New Castle, Bobbi Jo Kotler of Farmington, PA, Barbara Spiker and Janet Jones both of New Castle, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his family, he is also preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Trott and Robert Trott, and one sister, Judy Carbone.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 15, 2023, from 3 PM to 6 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Funeral services will be celebrated Friday, December 15, 2023, at 6:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
