Born December 7, 1958, in Sheboygan, Steven was a son of the late Kenneth and Jo Ann (Kuester) Wiltzius. He attended Sheboygan area schools. He then went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army from 1976 to 1987. On August 22, 1992, he was united in marriage to Dawn A. Cahala at St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Steve was a furniture maker at the Nemschoff Chair Company for many years before his retirement.
He enjoyed watching game shows, old westerns, playing golf, and being outside in the summer with his family and friends while enjoying a nice cold beer. You could find him just about anywhere laughing and making people smile and laugh with him.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Dawn; his children, Tony (Nicole) Wiltzius, Jeremy (Angela) Wiltzius, and Joseph “Jen” Wiltzius; five grandchildren, Brooklynn Wiltzius, Addison Wiltzius, Sierra Harper, Kya Gahiji and Corbin Wiltzius; his brothers, Larry (Barbara) Wiltzius and Michael (Kristine) Wiltzius; his sister, Dawn Cox; brother-in-law, Mark Sommer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, Ken and Jo Ann, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Kenneth S. Wiltzius; his brother, Gary (Diane) Wiltzius; and his sister, Shery Sommer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Ave., Sheboygan, with Chaplain Joe Zenk officiating.
