Beatrice Ione Kroeck, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, in Bradenton, FL at the age of 90. Born on December 28, 1934, to Burton Gessler and Martha Boye in Sheboygan Falls. Beatrice lived a life defined by compassion, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. Beatrice’s warmth and generosity touched all who knew her, she had a unique gift of making new best friends.

Beatrice graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1952. There Beatrice met William “Bill” Kaesermann who she later fell in love with and married in Dubuque, IA on May 31, 1957. Beatie and Bill raised their family in Sheboygan, with a network of siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dogs were always present. Her home was a place of comfort and welcome, where stories were shared, cards were played, and food was enjoyed. During the summers, the family enjoyed camping at Long Lake State Park. Bill preceded Beatie in death on April 9, 2007. Following his death Beatrice retired to Bradenton, FL. While pursuing her true passion, playing bridge, Beatrice met and fell in love with William “Bill” Kroeck. They were married at Zion United Church of Christ in Sheboygan, on July 10, 2010. They enjoyed attending concerts, traveling, and remained active with the Bridge Club of Bradenton and the Congregational United Church of Christ.

Beatrice had a close group of friends including Sally Seefeld, Doris Kettler, Betty Clairabout, Rita Huhn and Carol Price, they supported each other and their families. With her best friend and first Bridge partner Joyce Seefeld, the two took on many ventures including cub and boy scout packs. Beatrice also led girl scout groups and extended trips.

Beatrice worked as a beautician and salon owner for over 35 years. This included working for good friend Audrey Bacon at Audrey’s Beauty Salon. She then ran Accent Beauty Salon on Broadway and eventually purchased Audrey’s Beauty Salon and moved and renamed the Salon “Beaties”. Beatie’s amazing zeal for life, effervescent personality, and savvy business sense drove the salon’s success.

With her love of music, dancing, and yodeling, Beatrice was often the life of the party, but above all else, Beatrice was an avid card enthusiast and keen bridge player who achieved the prestigious rank of Life Master – an accomplishment that reflected her sharp mind, strategic thinking, and love for connection. She found joy not only in the game but in the friendships and camaraderie it fostered.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents Burton and Martha (Boye) Gessler; her first husband William “Bill” Kaesermann; her second husband William “Bill” Kroeck; her daughter-in-law Susan (Thimmig) Kaesermann; her sisters Audrey Gessler, Roma (Adam Baumgartner) (Paul) Akright, Alberta (Timothy) Nisporic, Virginia (Gerald) Kuntz; her brothers Roland (Barbara) Gessler, Orin (Della) Gessler, Gerald (Alice) Gessler, Ralph (Cori) Gessler, Donald (Lois) Gessler, and Richard Gessler.
