Steven Wooters Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Holloway Funeral Home - Salisbury on Jan. 22, 2026.
Steven "Steve" Wooters a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully in his hometown of Salisbury, MD. His life was full of hard work and dedication to his career and family.
Steve was known for his quick wit and wisdom. He was a skilled mason whose craftsmanship left a lasting legacy in the form of elegant stone and brick buildings that grace the area. His work was not just a job but a reflection of his artistry and dedication to his craft.
Family was a big part of Steve's life. His beloved wife, Dianne, was his partner in all things, sharing in the joys and challenges of life side by side. Together, they raised their son, Dylan, instilling in him the values of integrity and the importance of doing the right thing. Steve's role as a father was one, he cherished deeply, and the love and guidance he provided shaped Dylan into the man he is today.
He was preceded in death by his mother Betty and his father Oris. His brother Arnold and sisters, Lorraine and Elaine, will remember Steve for the bond they shared. Growing up close in age and always being there for each other throughout life, working together and even living in close proximity. They were always just a phone call away and shared amazing memories like holidays and barbecues.
Steve's legacy is not just the structures he built but the family he raised and lives he touched. Above all, Steve loved spending quiet evenings at home with Dianne and their loyal dog, Stella, where they found comfort in each other's company. Steve was an avid dart player and loved the friendly competition of the game. He was a man who knew how to fix just about anything, a trait that made him the go to person in times of need. His absence will be felt deeply by those who knew and loved him. As we say goodbye to Steven Wooters, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and a life lived his way and by his terms. His memory will continue to inspire and comfort us in the days to come. Steve's journey on earth has ended but his spirit remains a guiding force for all who were blessed to know him.
We will have a celebration of life announced at a later date.
