Steven Robert Zerbel

Steven Robert Zerbel, born June 7, 1951 in Elgin IL, he died at his home in Morrison, Colorado, December, 2023.
Steve grew up in Algonquin, IL attending St John's Lutheran, 1969 graduate of Irving Crown High School, 1974 Graduate of the University of Illinois, a member of Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity, MPA from the University of Oklahoma in 1992. Steve worked in the Homebuilding Industry for many years in Norman, OK then for HUD in Oklahoma City, finally as President of Zerbel & Assoc. providing Architectural Engineering and Cost Reviews for HUD Multifamily MAP & LEAN Financing. Steve was an avid outdoorsman, a private pilot, a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Steve was proceeded in death by his father, Robert Zerbel, his partner in life, Brenda Crossno Zerbel, beloved daughter, Analisa Zerbel, and his brother David J Zerbel.
Steve is survived by his grandchildren, Tyelar & Kyla Linck of O'Fallon, MO., his mother, Alladee Zerbel, his sister, Laura (Greg) Brezinski, Norman, OK, Nieces, Molly Coles Mitchell & Kristi Brezinski Meier, Norman, OK, and nephew, Jason Brez, Washington DC, his sister-in-law Carol Coles, Wanette, OK and other extended family.
