Shonny Marie Marz June 21, 1956~March 18, 2026 Shonny Marz (Thatcher), 69, of Golden, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Shonny was born on June 21, 1956, in Holyoke, Colorado. She built a life centered around caring for others, both personally and professionally, working as a CNA where she touched many lives with her compassion and dedication. She will always be remembered for her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought into every room-especially through her unforgettable laugh. Shonny loved dancing, camping, and most of all, spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest pride and the center of her world. Shonny is survived by her loving husband, Ed; her children, Heather (Kyle), Sonya, Julie & Rachel (Aaron); her cherished grandchildren, Alex (Erika), Marissa, Kirsten (Aidan), Valerie, Cameron, Bray (Vicky), Nevaeh, Davyeon, Charleigh, and Bailey; and her great-grandchildren, Nialah and Tilian. She is also survived by her sister, Trudy (Carl), and her brother, Terry (Jo). She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sherry. Shonny's warmth, strength, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the laughter she shared and the love she gave so freely.
