Stuart R. Wasley

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Stuart Wasley, born on February 24, 1971, in Manchester, England. Stuart departed this life on September 12, 2025, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Stuart was a devoted son to his parents, Veronica and Ron Wasley, with whom he lived over the past 18 months. He was a loving father to his children: Kalynne Singletary, Valentina Wasley, and Caleb Duke-Wasley. He found immense joy in being a grandfather to his beloved granddaughters, Zoeey and Remey Singletary. He is also survived by his brothers, Jason Wasley and Stephen Wasley, as well as a host of extended family and dear friends, especially his former wife Brandi Duke with whom he continued to have a happy and supportive relationship.

Known for his wonderful sense of humor, Stuart had an infectious laugh that brightened the lives of all who knew him. For many years, Stuart flourished and enjoyed a promising career as an IT manager but, due to his health problems from being a diabetic from the early age of 4 years, had to give up the job he loved so much and continue life as a disabled yet very focused and busy individual. He had a remarkable ability to find joy in the simplest of things, whether it was tending to his beloved fish and aquariums, building model cars, or sharing stories from his epic Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. A true motor enthusiast, he had a passion for motorcycles and cars that brought him great happiness. He could take anything apart and put it back together from memory.

A memorial service to celebrate Stuart's life will be held on Saturday, September 20th, at 4:00 pm in the Buford Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory with Dr. Michael McCullar officiating. Friends and family are invited to come together to share their memories and honor the life of Stuart, a remarkable man, son, father, grandfather, and brother.

Stuart's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who love him, and he will be dearly and sorely missed. May his laughter and light shine on in our memories forever.
