It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sue Carol Sharpe Aaron, who departed this world on February 5, 2025, at the age of 70. She was born on May 7, 1954, in Asheboro, North Carolina, and peacefully passed away at Hospice Home in Burlington. Sue was a cherished daughter of the late Frederick and Gladys Hamilton Sharpe. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband King Michael Aaron, sister, Judy S. Sharpe, and brother, Lacy Gaster. Sue leaves behind a devoted family who will forever hold her memory dear: her sons, Mike Rich of Burlington and Stephen Rich of Delaware; her stepchildren, Tony and Mark Aaron of Siler City; her sister, Ann Gaster Brower of Asheboro; and her beloved grandchildren, Austin Rich, Jace Rich, and Grace Rich. Sue dedicated many years of her life to her career in the food service industry, where she worked as a manager. Her dedication and commitment were felt by all who worked alongside her. In her personal time, Sue enjoyed indulging in genealogy research, reading, and watching television. She was known for her unique trait of always being fashionably late, a characteristic that brought smiles and light heartedness to those around her. A proud and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Asheboro, Sue's faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing strength and guidance to her and her loved ones. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of Hospice Home of Burlington for the kindness and care they provided during Sue's final days. In remembrance of Sue, the family will conduct a memorial service at 1pm on Saturday, March 1, 2025 to celebrate her life and honor. The service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, 1109 McDowell Rd., Asheboro, NC 27205.
