Sue Bakutis Obituary
Sue Bakutis, 74, of Grayslake, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2023. She was born on January 25, 1949 in Chicago to Paul and Eleanor Craver.
Sue's favorite hobby was fishing and she truly loved spending vacations with her family in the North Woods.
Sue also enjoyed playing board games with her son and husband Ken, playing bingo, and always looked forward to attending family events. As a young person, she used to sew and enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a sweet soft spoken person with a gentle soul and was liked by all.
Sue worked for 45 years at the Ace Corporate office in various roles.
Sue will be deeply missed by her son, Michael (Jessica) Bakutis of Wauconda; her sisters, Patrice Craver, Terry (Roger) Baaske, and Karen (Gary) Kousnetz; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken in May 2023.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4 PM until the time of the service at 7:30 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake. Visitation will continue the following day from 10:30 AM until the time of prayers at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
