Sue Ball Obituary
She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Sue's love for family was unmatched. She found happiness in her garden, flowers, spending time with family and in every laugh and hug shared.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William "Bill" Ross Ball; her brothers Harless "Smokey", Clell "Bo", Ronald "Lil Boy", Charles Don "Pop", John Henry, and Dave "Major" Vanover; sisters Barbara Ellen Vanover and Eunice Reed; her daughter Jeannette Justice; a great-grandson, Branson Jones; and her son-in-law, Bill Waldon Sr.
Those left to carry on her memory include her children: Sandy (Phillip) Justice of Roderfield, WV; Gary Vanover of Bluefield, WV; and Jeanine Waldon of Pennsylvania. She was a proud grandmother to Michelle (Ryan) Beck of Bluefield, Amanda Roberts of Kentucky, Sonya (Brandon) Jones of Iaeger, Billy Ray Waldon Jr. of Pennsylvania, and Rebecca (Joe) Edwards of Iaeger. Sue also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren: Brycelynn and Rylan Beck, Kyler Rodgers, Zay Jones, and Elijah Edwards; her sisters, Irma Runyon and Cloie (Larry) Goodson; Brother, Hiram "Huckle" Vanover; special in-laws Lucille Vanover and Hobert Reed; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and kindness that will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
In honoring Sue's wishes, her body will be cremated and there will be no services.
Fanning Funeral Home in Welch is assisting the family.
