Sue Hyde, 87, of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025.
Born on April 14, 1938, in Beaver Dam, to Lynn and Marie (Brewster) Merrill, Sue grew up in a large and loving family of nine. On December 20, 1958, she married the love of her life, Thomas Hyde, and together they built a home filled with devotion, laughter, and love.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Thomas, and seven cherished siblings. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and love in the hearts of all who knew her.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Wendy (Gary) Rindfliesch, Julie Hyde, Daniel (Laura) Hyde, and David (Pamela) Hyde; her sister, Joy Sigl; nine treasured grandchildren-Andrea, Susan, Jenna, Abigail, Jordyn, Ryan, Samuel, Benjamin, and Spencer-and four great-grandchildren, Althea, Lincoln, Elijah, and Josie. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will carry her memory forward.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff of Hansen House Memory Care, who cared for Sue with dignity and kindness over the past four years.
A celebration of Sue's life will be held at a later date, when family and friends can gather to share stories, memories, and the joy she brought into their lives.
