Sue Jane Jameson, age 84, passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on January 10, 1941, in Gorin, Missouri, Sue lived a life full of love, laughter, and deep devotion to those closest to her. She was the wife of Timothy Jameson, and together they built a life that included spending most of their time surrounded by grandkids, family, and many friends.

Sue is survived by her four children: Dennis Christy, Marty Christy and his wife Carol, Susan Powell, and Timothy Jameson Jr. and his wife Leslie; her brother Rex Peterson. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Niki, Beau, Dusty, Brandy, Zane, Cody, Randi, Rachael, Sally, Aubrey, Brandon, Trevor, Aden, and Adelynn. Her cherished great-grandchildren include Jaxson, Blakely, Emily, Addi, Aden, Zoey, Dayton, Skylin, Brayden, Avery, and Mason. She was also blessed with a great-great-granddaughter, Ada Mae.

Sue had a way of making everyone feel like family - and for the Carrasco family, that was especially true. Sue adored them, loved them like her own, and treasured the memories they shared. Sylvia and her children, Juan, Tony, Paco, Miguel, Bibiana and Elizabeth. Their children Astella, Milani, Janessa, Camelo, Caden, Alena, Esmarae, Mya, Kruz, and Lydia were all very important people in her life.

In addition to her family by blood, many others lovingly called her "Grandma," a reflection of the warmth and care she showed to all.

Sue was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Keller, whom she loved deeply and missed dearly; her parents, Jude Peterson and Verneda Peterson; her sister, Julia Ann Rhodes; her brothers, Virgil Peterson and Bobby Peterson; and her great-grandson, Jayden Ellis. She was also preceded in death by Richie Carrasco.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, contagious laughter, love of gardening, canning, sewing, quilting, reading, and for the way she made everyone feel at home in her presence. She was also a proud and passionate Kansas City Chiefs fan-cheering them on with joy and loyalty through every season.

In honor of Sue's lifelong love of reading and her passion for helping children, the family invites donations to Lead to Read KC, a Kansas City nonprofit that provides reading mentorship to elementary students. Donations can be made online at www.leadtoreadkc.org or mailed to:
