Jones, Sue B, 85, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, at Cedar Communities in West Bend. Sue was born on June 20th, 1940, in Shorewood, WI, to Anne Bode (nee Renick) and Robert Bode.
She grew up in Whitefish Bay, WI. She married John R Jones in 1959 and together they built a wonderful home in the Town of Lisbon and had two children, Tracy and Trevor. She was a foster parent and cared for several infants. Sue was known for her love of family, her strength, and sense of humor.
She worked in the mortgage banking industry for over 30 years. Her position as a contract underwriter had her travelling all over the country.
Sue loved going to the Milwaukee Repertory Theater and was a season ticket holder for many years. She also enjoyed the ballet and symphony. She was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed watching Turkish soap operas.
She is survived by her children, Tracy Jones and J. Trevor Jones (Trisha); and her grandchildren: Sara Sandford (Chris), Molly Jones (Jacob), Jory Jones, and Ben Kahelski. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R Jones; parents, Anne and Robert Bode; and brother, Donn Bode.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Church in Whitefish Bay on October 30th. A family hour will begin at 3:30 pm and the service will start at 4:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to to gather at the Bavarian Bierhaus in Glendale, WI at 5:30 pm
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
