Sue Ann Weimer, age 72, passed away in Hillsdale on Sunday, June 8, 2025. She was born on March 15, 1953 to Robert and Viola (Taulbee) Wilcox in LaGrange Indiana. She married Sherman "Sonny" Weimer on December 30, 1985, and he preceded her in death on February 1, 2013.
Sue was a true family woman her entire life. Anyone who knew her knew of the love she had for her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends. She was known to be a happy and giving person to anyone she met, and could always share a laugh. Sue was an avid Elvis fan, and could be found wearing the color purple. She loved her flowers and enjoyed cooking for her family. She truly valued her time spent with her grandchildren and would do anything for them. Even when she was busy being a grandma, she could always make time for her friends.
Survivors include her six children, Pernell (Darcie) Hyde, Chegon Hyde, Robert (Nicole) Handshoe, Frank (Joy) Handshoe, Sherman (Tina) Weimer, and Michael Weimer; Grandchildren, Kaydence, Brooklynn, Aaliyah, Kayden, Trace, Nicholas, and Kinsey; great-grandchildren, Jasper (Aaliyah), Onyx (Aaliyah), Aurora (Aaliyah), and Hadleigh (Kaydence); six siblings, Missy Wilcox, Larry Wilcox, Ronnie Wilcox, Brad (Becky) Wilcox, Ken (Chris) Wilcox, and Terry (Shirley) Wilcox; and special friends, Jackie, and Claudia.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister, Brenda Ross; daughter-in-law, Latasha Hyde; and special friend, Nancy.
There will be a private funeral for Sue Ann Weimer with burial at Osborne Cemetery in Camden. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading.
