Sue Faulconer Williams, 1936-2026, born in Harrison County, daughter of the late Melvin and Julia Marshall Faulconer. She was preceded in death by her son, Tony Williams, sisters Priscilla Petty, Marie Adams, Melba Doyle and Anna M. Faulconer. Survivors are her children Lee (Rebecca Cook) Williams, David (Deborah Hoover) Williams, and daughter-in-law, Donna Kearns Williams all of Cynthiana and Harrison County, a sister Carrol (Ted) Carr, Versailles, KY. Five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was a member of the Diaconate of the Cynthiana Christian Church, was a member of the Harrison Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, served in many positions with the Cynthiana High School Alumni Association, worked on the Veterans Day committee at Battle Grove Cemetery, a charter member of the Women in Military Service to America (WIMSA) Memorial and was a member of the American Legion Post in Falmouth, KY.

She graduated from Cynthiana High School class of 1955, received a BA from Columbia College, Columbia, MO and MA from Almeda University, Atlanta, GA. She also graduated from the highest military course for enlisted soldiers, the Sergeant's Major Academy, El Paso, TX. Her military career lasted over 27 years. She was selected to be on the first all-female Honor Flight and was honored with helping to lay the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Her working career consisted of working at Westside Elementary School, Webber Farms, teaching Army JROTC at Mason County High School and teaching at Harrison County High School as well as her years in the Army.

The service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Cynthiana Christian Church, 202 N Main St., Cynthiana, KY 41031. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Raven's Creek Cemetery, P.O. Box 68, Cynthiana, KY 41031 or Battle Grove Cemetery, 531 East Pike Street, Cynthiana, KY 41031 or a charity of choice.
