Sueann Mirkovich of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, passed away on November 27, 2025 at 68 years of age. She was born in Three Rivers, Michigan on April 2, 1957, to the late Alva Johnson and Stella (Wodjlyo) Johnson. Her selfless nature to support her family led her to be a resident of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Florida, Texas, Kentucky, Alabama, and North Carolina. Sueann enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with her beloved family. She was a devoted mother, wife, Grammy, mother-in-law and friend. She became a friend to anyone she met. Sueann loved to laugh, joke, and prank her friends and family. She had the best sense of humor and a caring nature for everyone she loved. Sueann spent her time working in home health care, hospitality, manufacturing and customer service.
She is survived by her son Justin (Jenny) Mirkovich, grandson Bradley Mirkovich, and the Sutton/Cignetti family. She is survived by her sister Roseann, three brothers, Jack, Tim, and Tom, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ken Mirkovich, parents, sister Marieann, brothers Ted, Jim, John, Joe and Michael.
Walkers Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, will be serving the Mirkovich family. The cremation has been arranged in North Carolina. A private family service will be held December 23, 2025 with Interment at Moore Park Cemetery in Three Rivers, Michigan.
Memorial donations may be made to Rosie’s Southside Animal Shelter (Indianapolis) or an animal shelter of your choice.
