Kendrick Jones
March 25, 2020
My name is Kendrick Jones. At the time of Summers death she was the person that I held closest to my heart. She was phenomenal and I felt together we can change the world for the better. I realized that Summers final three days in the flesh was spent with me, almost exclusively. Today I hope to bring a certain degree of closure to those closest to Summer. First allow me to same summer wasn't in any kind of emotional turmoil or the rest. We were happy. We talked about our future and our past in great length the last weekend of summer is way too short life. I can remember on Sunday, the day before Summer's untimely demise, we went shopping for a Bible for Summer. On the way home summer told me she had a feeling something bad was going to happen. Then she told me about a reoccurring dream that she has been having about getting into a car accident with her son in the car with him. After that a conversation ensued. And what I took from that conversation I would like to share with you today. Summer didn't feel as if that was a bad thing. She also didn't want anybody to feel sad that she was gone because death wasn't a bad thing. However if you knew Summer not being sad is a pretty tall order to fill. Summer touched people. Her energy was powerful and refreshing. An energy that is that vibrant doesn't just dissipate. I'm sure she's moving through the solar system refreshing and recharging as she comes and goes. And I truly believe that her premonition was a manifestation of her destiny and a testament to the divinity of her soul.
I miss you Summer. I love you. And there will always be a part of me that's waiting for you to come home.

I worked with Summer and for awhile we carpooled together, one evening I went out to my car and she left a note on my steering wheel that said "Your My Favorite Deputy". We always quoted movies with each other and on that night I remember how much it meant to me that she did that.

Summer was amazing, she had a bubbly personality and I always thought her name fit her so well. I think about the fun times we had together and that I will miss her for a very long time. She had a smile that would light up the room she was exceptionally beautiful. I always thought she looked just like Olivia Wilde but not looking back I don't think Olivia had anything on her, I miss her and I hope to see her again.
