Salem- Susan Ann Brown,77, died Friday evening, February 20, 2026 at home.
Born August 21, 1948 in Battle Creek, MI, she was a daughter of the late Gloria and Kenneth Skidmore.
Susan worked as a cook for many years.
A devoted grandmother, she was happiest at home with the kids, but she adored her dogs as well.
Survivors include her daughters Rebecca Kunkel and Christina Dixon; 7 grandchildren: Tony (Stacy) Conine, Holly (Marshall) Workman, Amanda Thacker, Joshua (Jake) Waldinger, Briana (Tracy) Cowell, Kendra (Jose) Sanchez, and Cody Cowell. There are many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as her son-in-law Terry Joy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Brown and daughter, Renee Joy.
In keeping with her wishes, no formal services will be held.
