Susan Ann Dickson

Susan Ann Dickson, 65, of Emmett, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025, at Sanilac County Medical Care Facility.
She was born September 1, 1960, in Detroit, the daughter of the late Joseph and Jean (Busby) Gajda.
Her marriage to Alan Lloyd Dickson was September 7, 1984, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
Susan was an active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and was the Director of Religious Education. She enjoyed watching General Hospital, as well as football and hockey on TV. Susan was proud of her Scottish and Polish heritage. She loved her grandchildren more than anything.
Surviving in addition to her husband Alan of 41 years are their children, Ashleigh (Scott) Bertram, Alexander, Samantha and Adam; grandchildren, Bracken, Brodie, Keira, Alex, Evan, Nikolas, Alyvia, Colt, Kaulder, Merida, Calin, Payton, and Aubrey; siblings, Margaret (Kris) Chatterson and Betty (Mike) Falecki; and nieces and nephews, Megan, Vanessa, Mike Jr. and Lindsey.
The family honors the memory of Susan and invites you to visit and share memories Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale, with rosary devotion at 6:00 p.m. Rite of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 13, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Fr. Tom Khuemmand, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel- Kenockee Township Cemetery.
