Susan Elaine Eastham

HASLET, TEXAS - Susan Elaine (Rhodes) Eastham, 73, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, after a courageous battle with kidney disease.

Susan was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on March 16, 1950, the youngest daughter of, Lewayne and Flaleah Rhodes.
Susan married Rick Eastham, in 1977, and moved to Seattle, Washington, where they had two children, Christopher and Scott Eastham. Tragically, Christopher passed away in infancy. After the passing of her husband, Rick, Susan and her son Scott moved back to the Fort Worth area, where she met and married, David McDonald. Later, she and David bought their home in Haslet, where she resided until her passing.
Susan found joy in the classics, indulging in films from the 1930's and British television. Her love for flowers, particularly roses, was evident throughout her life, and she owned and operated a floral shop in Haslet.
Susan was preceded in death by her husbands, Rick Eastham and David McDonald; children, Christopher Eastham and Scott Eastham; sister, Martha Ann Turkett; parents, Lewayne and Flaleah Rhodes; and her cousin, Sherry Marsh.
Susan is survived by her nephew, Stephen Turkett; niece, Stacy Beigel; along with great-nephews, Timothy Turkett and Benjamin Lona; and her great-niece, Annabelle Beigel.
No formal services are scheduled as we remember and celebrate, the vibrant life, of Susan Elaine Eastham.
