Susan Fredericks, age 79, of De Pere and formerly of Neenah, passed away on November 9, 2025. She was born on May 8, 1946, in Neenah, Wisconsin, to Clyde and Margaret Bunker.
A proud graduate of St. Mary High School in Menasha, class of '64, Susan was a lifelong learner and an avid reader. She had a knack for puzzles, whether it was crossword puzzles or trying her luck watching game shows. She spent many years in bowling leagues, and she found joy in quiet moments birdwatching, surrounded by nature.
Family was everything to Susan. She was a dedicated mother who poured her heart into school activities for her children and gave her time generously to church events at St. Patrick's in Menasha. Her love for animals, particularly dogs and cats, added a special warmth to her home.
In her later years, Susan worked at Coldwater Creek in Appleton, where her friendly demeanor and kind spirit made her a favorite among colleagues and customers alike.
She is survived by her children: Christopher (Bobbie) Fredericks, Jennifer Fredericks and Kathryn “Katie” (Ian) Ronk; grandchildren: Haley Fredericks, Zoey Fredericks, Mya Fredericks and Maxwell Fredericks; sister Barbara (Norman) Bauman; many nieces and nephews, and her dog Louie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Norman “Bud” (Marion) Bunker and Richard “Dick” Bunker; sisters: Marion Crowson, Nancy (Florian) Neuman, Janet (Jerold) Herreman; dogs: Cookie, Muffin, Romeo, Winnie, Ollie, Buddy and Tuffy; cats Grace and Cleo.
Family and friends may visit at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez, on Monday, November 17, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Green Bay.
Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at St. Croix Hospice and Angel’s Touch Assisted Living.
