Susan C. Furnish, age 75, of Erlanger, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Villaspring Care Center, just three months shy of her 76th birthday. Born on September 26, 1949, in Covington, Kentucky, she was the cherished daughter of the late Clarence and Loretta (Becker) Stricker.
A retired Office Assistant, Susan brought warmth, kindness, and a joyful spirit wherever she went. She had a love for life that was contagious, whether relaxing at the beach, laughing with loved ones, or cheering on her beloved Cincinnati Bengals; Susan embraced every moment. But more than anything, her heart belonged to her family, her truest source of pride and joy.
She was the devoted wife of Robert L. Furnish, with whom she shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life rich in love, laughter, and enduring memories. Susan leaves behind her beloved children: Melissa Furnish, Michael Furnish (Shanda), and Ashley Heidel (Tyler). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Blake Furnish (Rachel), Alisia Crook, Caleb Furnish, Aidan Furnish, Nora Heidel, and Alayna Heidel, and great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her dear brother, Bob Stricker (Sue), and her sister, Jeanne Meinzen (Don), along with a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly and remember her for her generous heart, radiant smile, and unwavering love.
Susan’s legacy lives on in the many lives she touched, and she will be lovingly remembered always.
