Susan Gifford, 56, of Niles, Ohio passed away on April 19th, 2025 at St Joseph Health Center. She was born in Warren, Ohio on June 22nd, 1968 to her parents, Joseph Byard and Jeanette Byard (Hilston). Susan went on to graduate from Howland High School in 1986 and worked at Shepard of the Valley in Girard, Ohio for 34 years as a nursing assistant.
Susan married her husband, William Gifford in December 1994 and went on to spend 30 years together, creating memories and building a life on the foundation of love.
Susan was a bright light in this world that enjoyed music, especially country and gospel, and animals, especially her four legged fur babies, Rascal, Trixie and Gracie.
Susan is survived by her husband, her mother, her mother-in-law; Carolyn Gifford, and two siblings; Terri (Kevin) Dunmire and Debbie (Dennis) Schneider.
Susan is preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.
