Janet Marie Armistead of Warren, Ohio passed away on July 28th, 2025 at Windsor House in Champion. She was 90 years old.

Janet was born December 21, 1934, in Greesburg, PA, the daughter of Lewis Taylor and Martha (Gearhart) Taylor.

She was a 1953 graduate of Lordstown High School. Janet retired from Cox Lithograph the former Falls Printing in the binding department. She also worked for Superior Printing.

Mrs. Armistead was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Janet loved being at home with her family.

Her husband, Charles William Armistead, whom she married on September 30th, 1954, passed away in 1959.

She is survived by 2 sons, William (Judith) Armistead of Warren, and Danny (Sherrie) Armistead of Champion; a daughter, Pamela (Cliff) Baker of Lordstown; 12 grandchildren, Eric, Josh, Keith, Shaun, Steve, Stephanie, Theresa, Cliff, Bobby, Joey, Dave, and Shelly; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Janet was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Sherry Lee Taylor and Brenda Lee Glenn; a sister, Roberta Thompson.

Calling Hours will be on Monday August 4th, 2025 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446.
