Susan Gail (McLeskey) Helms, 75, of
Piggott, Arkansas, passed away December 28, 2025, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was born on October 18, 1950, in

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Clifford and Charlotte Luella McLeskey; son, Jimmy Craig Helms; three brothers, Clifford Royal McLeskey, Louis Craig McLeskey, and Terrance Lee McLeskey; and sister, Judy Lynn (McLeskey) Mallard.
Susan was lovingly known to all as "Gran Gran" or "GG", passed away far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a pillar that held us together the steady presence, the warm heart, and the voice of encouragement that lifted everyone around her. Gran Gran's greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. She was their biggest cheerleader, celebrating every milestone, every success, and even standing strong through their struggles. Whether through kind words, quiet support, or fierce pride, she made each of them feel deeply loved and believed in. Her love was constant, unconditional, and impossible to replace.
She lived a life rooted in faith, compassion, and selflessness. She gave freely of herself, always placing others before her own needs. Her home and heart were always open, and her influence will continue to shape generations to come. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we are forever grateful for the memories, lessons, and love she so generously gave. While we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved family and most importantly her son, and that she rest peacefully in the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith carried her through life, and it now carries her into eternity. Susan will be forever missed, forever cherished, and forever remembered. Her love will live on in each of us, and her spirit will always remain a guiding light in our family.
