Susan E. Limeberry

Susan E. Limeberry, 64, of Forks Township, PA, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg surrounded by her loving family.
Born December 8, 1960, in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alan R. and Barbara J. (Rhymer) Shimer.
She and her husband, Craig A. Limeberry, would have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on September 12, 2025.
Sue graduated from Wilson Area High School, Class of 1978 where she was a cheerleader. She also graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing.
She was a registered nurse for forty years, working at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hecktown Oaks and the former Easton Hospital.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved her dogs and the beach and enjoyed reading.
Sue was a member of Arndt's Lutheran Church.
Surviving in addition to her loving husband, Craig, are two sons, Craig A. Limeberry, Jr. and his wife Catherine, of Plano, TX and Tyler J. Limeberry and his wife Bailey, of Bel Alton, MD; a daughter, Brooke E. Limeberry, of Tuscaloosa, AL; three grandchildren, Tripp, Clara and Owen; a brother, David A. Shimer and his wife Karen, of Nazareth; a sister, Lynda Baker and her husband Roger, of Orefield; her mother-in-law, Betty Ann Limeberry, of Palmer Township; nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Bentley.
Services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, August 15th in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call Thursday 4-6pm and Friday 9:30-10:30am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
