Hugh J. Lucas Jr.

Hugh J. Lucas, Jr., 78, of Tobyhanna, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away Monday, October 27, 2025, at his home.
Born August 7, 1947, in Easton, PA, he was a son of the late Hugh J. Lucas, Sr. and Charlotte (Kilpatrick) Lucas.
His wife of 41 years, Sandra A. (Bachman) Lucas, passed away April 25, 2024.
Hugh attended Easton Area High School.
He was last employed by the former Riegel Paper Mill, Milford, NJ.
Hugh enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson. He was a NASCAR and Philadelphia Eagles fan.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Hugh was a member of Liberty Hose Company.
Surviving are his children, Daniel L. Lucas, Sr. and his wife Julie, of East Stroudsburg, Lisa M. Lucas, of Tobyhanna, Laura L. Lucas, of Milmay, NJ and Hugh J. Lucas III and his wife Mariah, of Lake Ariel; ten grandchildren, Daniel, Jacob, Kaylee, Laycia, Brayden, Alessandra, Azriel, Enzo, Lyric, and O'leeanah; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, James Moser and his wife Nancy, of Bethlehem Township; a sister, Charlotte Longacre and her husband Burdell, of Phillipsburg, NJ; his in-laws, William, Sr. and June Bachman, of Palmer Township; nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a son, Louis J. Lucas, Sr., a daughter, Kelly Lucas, two grandsons, Louis, Jr. and Jack Lucas, a brother, Scot E. Lucas, and his mother-in-law, Lynne M. Bachman.
