Beverly F. Lucas

Beverly Lucas of Warwick, passed away on November 3, 2025. Born in New Jersey the daughter of William and Miriam (Brown) Fletcher, she was the widow of Beverly Arthur Lucas. She had lived in Warwick for many years.

A graduate of South Kingstown High School and the University of Rhode Island with a major in mathematics, she worked for Amica Insurance until retirement. Over the years Mrs. Lucas had been an active and generous member of formerly Washington Park United Methodist Church now called Open Table of Christ United Methodist Church. She enjoyed activities at the Pilgrim Senior Center. An avid reader, she appreciated the Warwick Public Library's book clubs and later the program of mailing books to shut ins.

She was sister of the late Marshall Fletcher and leaves her sister-in-law Marie Fletcher, a nephew John Fletcher, his wife Rachelle and their three daughters all of Delaware, as well as many friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her service at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 17th at Open Table of Christ United Methodist Church, 1520 Broad St., Providence, RI.
