Susan A. Ruszkowski (nee Breyer) of Runnemede, NJ, passed away with her loved ones by her side on October 8, 2025, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Leonard for 43 beautiful years. Devoted mother of JoAnne Huckel (Patrick) and Laurel Byrne (Kevin). Loving grandmother of Chuck, Kim, Samantha, Gabrielle, Connor, Devon, Danica and Lily. Susan is survived by her brothers Sam (Jean) and Steve. Also, survived by her nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Anne (nee Wilent) Breyer, her brother George (Carol), her dear Aunt Alice and her extended family. She was a beloved daughter-in law to the late Frank & Mary Ruszkowski and sister-in law to the late Frank and Joyce Ruszkowski and the late Richard Ruszkowski. Susan grew up in Haddon Heights, NJ and graduated Haddon Heights High School in 1962. She was a dedicated employee for many years of Infocomp Corporation, Moorestown, and later explored a new career path working in the office of Chancellor Development in Haddonfield. Susan enjoyed her summers in North Wildwood with her family. For years, she found great joy spending long days on the beach, making drizzle castles, and collecting shells with her grandchildren. More recently, she could be found relaxing on the shore house deck sharing a warm, cheerful smile and a friendly wave with her loyal companion, Missy, and her husband always by her side. Baking Christmas cookies was a yearly tradition that Susan looked forward to sharing with her family. Crafting, browsing yard sales, and shopping at Boscov's were among her favorite past times. Susan was an avid crocheter. Sharing her handmade treasures, skillfully stitched with love, filled her heart with pride and happiness. Susan set a perfect example for her daughters and grandchildren who looked up to her as a role model. Susan's unwavering love, devotion, and strength will be embraced in the hearts of her family and friends forever. There will be a viewing on October 13, 2025, Monday from 10:30am to 12:15pm at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes Church, 701 Little Gloucester Road, Blackwood, NJ. Mass 12:30 pm. Interment private request of family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N Michigan Ave, floor 17, Chicago, Il 60601. www.alz.org

Sue and Lenny,
They are our neighbors at the shore. Our dog (Fiona) and Missy would play in their yard. Our Fiona would just go in the house and steal Missy´s toys. They got the biggest kick out of that. We will miss seeing Sue up on the deck, always smiling and waving "hello." She was always so kind to everyone. She will be missed.
