Susan Sebak

1947 - 2023

Susan (Anderson) Sebak, 76, of Tallmadge, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born April 6, 1947, in Punxsutawney, to the late Richard (Dick) and Ernestine Anderson. Susie grew up in Vandergrift, and was a 1965 graduate of Kiski Area High School. She attended Edinboro University and after raising her three children, Susie received her degree from Akron University. Susie was a beloved kindergarten teacher for 28 years at Windermere Elementary, in Akron. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence, and three loving children, Jackie Morrison (David Boffa), of Akron, Ohio, Larry (Alison) Sebak, of Akron, Ohio, and Barbara (David) Gorczyca, of Avon Lake, Ohio; also, five grandchildren whom she adored, Joe, Marianne, Caroline Morrison and Nick and Lexie Gorczyca. Susie is also survived by her two brothers, Rick, of York, Pa., and Sam, of Oakmont. A private funeral was held Oct. 2, 2023, in Akron.
