Susan Ann Smith, age 80, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. She was born July 8, 1945 to Jack and Hilda Michaels in Fairview, Pennsylvania.
Susan is survived by her husband, David Smith of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Shannon Armour of Talking Rock; daughter, Kerry Smith of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Heidi Smith of Erie, Pennsylvania; son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Pam Smith of Erie, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Zoe Kirk, Evan Kirk, Dylan Romine, Abigail Armour, Hailey Armour; great-grandchildren, Hazel and London. Other family members also survive.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Kirk.
Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Stuart officiating.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Gospel Outreach Church in Ball Ground.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
