Susan Thomas Obituary
Susan was born September 12, 1934 in York, a daughter of Luther J. and Grace (Bott) Spahr. She was a graduate of West York High School in 1952. Susan was retired from McCrory's Distribution Center after 22 years.
A longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church in York, Susan served on altar guild and newsletter production. She was an active member of the Letter Carriers Auxiliary and Red Hats Society.
Besides traveling the world with her late husband Susan enjoyed gardening, crafting, reading and spending time with family. She also liked taking in a show and joining friends or family to play cards and board games.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Loretta Chipin and husband, Mitchell; son, Alan Thomas; grandson, Eric Chipin; niece Donna Glatfelter; and nephew, Brian Thomas.
A private graveside service will be held by the family. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. is assisting with the arrangements.
