Susan Youngs Obituary
Our mother, Susan Youngs, a resident of Oak Point Assisted Living in Adams, TN, passed away Friday 13, 2023 at Northcrest Hospital in Springfield, TN at the age of 85. She was the daughter of Walter and Maude Petrie of East Jordan, MI. She is survived by daughters Julie Henley of Madison, TN (Steve) and Sheila Chenoweth of Springfield, TN (Jim), and grandchildren Amanda Henley of Madison, TN and Jason Henley of Dacula, GA and two great grandchildren. She sang and played bluegrass and country music and was the leader of the band that entertained Cumberland View Towers in Madison, TN for years. She loved animals and music and played many instruments. We will miss her terribly but know she will be singing in our hearts forever.
