She was born in Bayreuth, Germany on August 27, 1961, a daughter of the late Richard and Maria (Baur) Link. She was educated in Germany, where she also received a degree in nursing.
Susanne enjoyed the simple things in life and always looked forward to family time.
She was employed by the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa for many years.
Surviving her in addition to her husband are two children, Rebecca Christian and Richard Christian and his wife Angelica Simons; three grandchildren, Eli, Paige, Emma; one sister Mary and a niece Anita.
Gary and his family wish to extend their deepest appreciation to the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa for the many years of joy they brought to Susanne.
In accordance with her wishes, Funeral Services will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery.
