Susanne Opsitnick

SUSANNE OPSITNICK (nee Voll), age 64. Beloved wife of Drew for 44 years; devoted mother of Andy (Katie); cherished grandmother of Claire and Ethan; caring sister of Linda Bacik (Bob – deceased) and Patricia Murphy (Dan); dear daughter of the late William and Anne Voll. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
To know her was to love her. Proud mother and grandmother, Sue lived for God and those she loved. To have her as a grandmother was to have a real-life Mary Poppins, who made everything a little bit sweeter. For those lucky enough to have her as a part of their family, she was a compassionate and nurturing presence, always giving selflessly. If you weren't a part of her family, she would still probably make you a pumpkin roll and invite you over for dinner.
Sue dedicated her late career to the dental school at Case Western Reserve University. Known for her kindness and generosity, she touched the lives of coworkers, students, and patients alike. Sue enjoyed spending her time with family and friends, visiting the lake, and spoiling her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends THURSDAY October 17, 2024 from 4 – 7 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am Friday, October 18, 2024 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1800 Station Rd., Valley City. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment St. Martin of Tours Cemetery.
