Susie Mae Williams was born on January 15, 1950 to the late Walter Ray Maddox and Mattie Mae Galloway. She passed away on July 11, 2025 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina.

Susie Mae Williams leaves to cherish her memories, four sons, Charles (Joyce) Maddox, Ernest (Etha) Jackson, Maurice Maddox, and Carlos Jackson; three brothers, Eugene Maddox, Raymond (Debra) Maddix, and John "Tuff" Maddox all of Anderson, SC; and one sister, Doris Karim of Anderson, SC. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other family members.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Geroge Clinton WIlliams; brothers, Walter Jr. Maddox, Paul Matthew Maddox, Ernest Earl Maddox, and Milton L. Maddox; sisters, Corena Maddox, Barbara Ann Maddox, and Lillie Mae Elam.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be held Wednesday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
