Suzanne Fry, 78, of Rushville, Indiana passed away August 5, 2025.
She was born August 5, 1947 in Rushville, Indiana. Suzanne graduated from New Salem High School in 1965. She attended Ball State University and worked at Fort Benjamin Harrison on Post Road, Indianapolis for two years. Suzanne married Paul A. Fry on June 4, 1966. They were married for 59 years and have been a true inspiration for so many people who knew them. They built a wonderful life and home together, working on their dairy farm, Fry-Vue Farms. They shared their love of farm life with family and friends throughout the years. Suzanne was often preparing a meal for family, employees, and neighbors.
Suzanne was a member of St Mary Catholic Church in Rushville, a 25-year member of Psi Iota Xi of Milroy, and a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. She showed and raised horses, Red and Blue Heeler dogs, and Siamese cats. She shared her love of animals with all of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Paul and daughters, Melanie (Jeff) Krieger, Stephanie (Brad) Tressler, and son-in-law Steve Yager. Her grandchildren include: Justin, Taylor, Karley, and Lexey Yager, Kayleigh (Makala) Krieger, Kenzie Krieger, Emma and Ella Tressler. Her beloved sister, Kay Thompson along with in-laws Bob and Mary Ann Bridges and Janie Fry also survive, as well as nieces and nephews. Suzanne was preceded in death by parents, Marjorie and William Carpenter, daughter, Kim Yager, grandson, Jared Krieger, and in-laws.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 9, 2025 at St Mary Catholic Church, Rushville with Rev. Dustin Boehm celebrating. Family and friends are invited to pray the rosary at 9 AM with visitation starting at 9:30 AM. Burial will be at Rushvilles Calvary Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Hope Center (2004 Indiana Ave, Connersville, IN 47331) or St Mary Catholic Church (512 N Perkins St, Rushville, IN 46173).
